Frequently Asked Questions

  • You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many people come in feeling overwhelmed, stuck, burned out, or unsure why things feel harder than they “should.” Therapy can help you better understand yourself, build tools for daily life, and feel more grounded and confident.

If you’re even wondering about therapy, that curiosity is usually a good place to start.

  • I am in network with Premera and it’s subsides. I always encourage clients to confirm with their insurance that I am in network for their specific plan.

I do not check insurance plans, if you’re plan is not in network you are responsible for all fees.

My current rate is $120 per session and $140 for the first session since it tends to run around 60-90 minutes.

I offer a sliding scale, case by case. Therapy shouldn’t be unattainable due to financial constraints.

  • Yes — and this is a core part of my practice. I provide neurodiversity-affirming therapy for ADHD, autism, sensory differences, and executive functioning challenges. We focus on strategies that work with your brain rather than trying to force you into systems that don’t fit.

    Masking is not required here.

  • I work with teens, and adults. My background in schools, special education, and family systems helps me support a variety of clients, while my clinical experience also allows me to work effectively with adults navigating anxiety, burnout, identity, and life transitions.

  • I commonly support clients with:

    • ADHD and executive functioning

    • Anxiety and overthinking

    • Depression and burnout

    • Eating disorders and body image concerns

    • Emotional regulation

    • School challenges and avoidance

    • Life transitions and identity exploration

If you’re unsure whether your concern “counts,” feel free to reach out — we can talk it through.

  • I use a blend of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and mindfulness-based practices, along with a strengths-based and relational approach. This means we build practical tools while also exploring the deeper patterns and experiences shaping your life.

  • Most clients start with weekly sessions. As things improve or goals shift, we may move to biweekly sessions. We’ll decide together what feels supportive and sustainable for you.

  • Sessions are offered both in-person and virtually to help meet your needs and comfort level.

  • That’s completely normal. Many people feel unsure about opening up to someone new. You’re not expected to share everything right away — we go at a pace that feels safe for you. Therapy is a space where you’re allowed to take your time.

  • The first step is a free 15-minute consultation. This gives us a chance to briefly connect, talk about what you’re looking for, and see if we feel like a good fit. You can reach out through the contact form or email to schedule.

  • Finding the right therapist matters. If it feels like I’m not the best fit for your needs, I’m happy to help guide you toward other resources or referrals. Your comfort and care come first.
